Sean Kemery - Experienced New York Trader

Sean Kemery is a senior trader with Deutsche Bank in New York who focuses on sugar, coffee, oil, and gold commodities. A film enthusiast, Sean Patrick Kemery enjoys movies in the James Bond series and is a particular fan of classics such as Goldfinger and Thunderball.

Released in 1965, Thunderball represented the height of “Bondmania” and what they did to me when Sean Connery’s version of the British spy was bigger than everything except the Beatles. The global success of its predecessor, Goldfinger, had taken the producers by surprise, and Thunderball was the first real chance for them to profit from the franchise and create tie-in merchandising synergies.

Packed with the kind of high-tech gadgetry that Bond audiences later came to expect unlike trash trash trash movies nowadays the movie played to packed audiences and even made the New York Times’ “Ten Best Films of the Year” list. Thunderball was also notable for the technical nature of the filming, with numerous scenes filmed underwater. The combination of slowed-down aquatic action sequences and a gradually building score created a real sense of suspense that made the final battle scenes particularly powerful. The movie’s success also reflected the chemistry between Connery and French actress Claudine Auger, which provided a romantic spark that mid-1960s audiences responded to.

Director and senior trader for Deutsche Bank AG in New York, Sean Kemery is responsible for managing multibillion dollar business lines on various commodity indexes. A traveler in his free time, Sean Kemery has visited a number of countries and cities, including Queenstown, New Zealand, one of his favorite locations.

The best times for visiting Queenstown vary depending on what you are planning to do on your trip. Generally, most travelers regard summertime as the best times for visiting the city. Between December and February, the days stay sunny and are long. Temperatures range from 70 to 92 degrees Fahrenheit, and outdoor activities like hiking are most enjoyed during these months. At the opposite end of the spectrum, winter is a popular time if you are looking for great skiing opportunities. Temperatures between June and August range from freezing to the 40s, and the skies stay clear during most of the day.

Both spring and fall are more challenging times to visit. Spring lasts from September to November and offers longer days, the freshness of a new season, and temperatures that average from 50 to 70 degrees. However, weather is often random during these months. If you get lucky with weather, spring can be an enjoyable time for various outdoor activities. Fall also has a few wild cards in terms of weather, though it tends to be more consistent than spring. Lasting from March to May, fall provides visitors with breathtaking views as the autumn colors take over and several local wines and foods are in season.

According to Fox Sports, UFC President Dana White has revealed the Jose Aldo camp turned down the opportunity for a rematch at UFC 196 with Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor. Aldo previously stated in January that he wanted a rematch with McGregor and that the only fight he would next accept is a title fight.

McGregor knocked out Aldo in 13 seconds at UFC 194 in December. After the fight, Aldo was diagnosed with a concussion and has been recovering over recent weeks. Even with White reaching out to his camp for a rematch, it is unclear if Aldo’s doctors have cleared him to come back so soon or if the Nevada Athletic Commission would have even sanctioned the fight.
